South Africa International Industrial Expo & China (South Africa) International Trade Expo is an international exhibition covering various industrial categories which dedicated to the enterprises and institutions from South Africa, Southern Africa and all Africa countries.
To achieve the National Development Plan 2030 and South African Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Plan, South Africa International Industrial Expo & China (South Africa) International Trade Expo aims to provide a professional economic and technology exchanging Platform between South Africa and the world.
The first South Africa International Industrial Expo & China (South Africa) International Trade Expo was successfully held at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 5-7 December 2022. During the exhibition, 71 companies from China and South Africa displayed their products intensively, with an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, and received more than 11,000 professional business people from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Lesotho and other southern African countries to visit and negotiate. Among them, 3,200 VIP attendees were invited, 5,600 online negotiation meetings were held. The on-site turnover of the exhibition was 150,000 US dollars, and the intended turnover reached 30 million US dollars.
Since 2009, South Africa has always been China’s largest trading partner in Africa. China has maintained the status of South Africa’s largest source of import and largest export destination. South Africa has been an attractive destination for Chinese corporations that want to expand their businesses and it has attracted more than $25 Billion investment in 2021. To date, there have been 200 Chinese companies in South Africa involving such things as energy, finance, mining, home appliance, communication, automobile, textile and clothing, real estate and logistics, which has created more than 400,000 jobs. There are boundless opportunities to be had and explored between South Africa and China for learning, partnership, development, growth and investment.
